Chat user's availability
This guide explains the "I'm Ready" and "I'm not Ready" statuses. Learn how setting your status controls whether you receive new chats and how operating hours can automatically set you to "not Ready" after hours.
In Ebbot, you can set your status to I'm Ready or I'm not ready.
If you set your status to I'm Ready, it means that you are available and able to receive new chats from your end users.
If you set your status to I'm not Ready, you will not be notified about new chats in the queue.
If no chat users have their status set to I'm Ready, no new chats will be added to the queue, since no one is available.
Note! You can still take on new chats from the queue if you have status set as I'm not Ready. But this needs to be done manually by you, and it also demands that some other chat user has status set to I'm Ready. Or else no new chats will be added to the queue.
Statuses and Operating hoursIf you have set up Operating hours, your status will take this into some consideration. You still need to set your status to I'm Ready, but the system will automatically know when to update your status to I'm not Ready.
For example, if your business hours are from 8am to 5pm, you will set your status to I'm Ready at 8am on your own. When the clock strikes 5pm, your status will automatically be set to I'm not Ready.
